The Piper is known for it’s legendary Karaoke, this is the main event that attracts people to our pub, and it brings in all kinds of people, young, old, and from all walks of life. We have quite a few “characters” who frequent our Friday and Saturday karaoke nights. It is probably the most laid back pub in the Lower Mainlnad, and at times, charmingly bizarre. The atmosphere is super easy going, where people mix, mingle, dance, and sing all night long. It’s pretty different, and you’d be hard pressed to find another pub like ours.
We have a great group of regular karaoke singers who pop down and are ready to entertain every weekend. We’re talking about some real talent a lot of the time. I mean, of course there are always a few who make you want to leave the room but but it just adds to the amazing entertainment we see here every weekend at one of the most famous karaoke bar’s in Surrey. For the most part we have some pretty amazing singers that come through and if you’ve never been here before they will surely blow you away!
Our DJ’s carry the most popular karaoke songs as well as all of your favorite classic karaoke songs, so no matter what you’re in the mood to sing, we’re sure to have it! For those of you looking to dance the night away, not to worry, it’s not exclusively karaoke. We mix in all of your favorite dance music from the 60′s to current top 40 hits. If you’re looking to hold the mic it’s a good idea for you to come earlier as the requests to sing fill up pretty quick and we always mix singers in with the dance music. The show starts at 9pm Fridays and Saturdays.
Friday and Saturday night’s are hosted by Almost Famous Karaoke. Owner of AFK, Jacqueline, co-hosts with her brilliant counterpart Cassie. These ladies are hands down the most beautiful karaoke hostesses in Greater Vancouver and work a crowd like nobody’s business! They pack the dance floor and get keep the party going every Friday and Saturday night. The lovely ladies from AFK have a pretty big following so come down early to make sure you get your song request in! Oh, and Cassie is know for dragging chair dancers onto the floor to shake it with her, so put you’re dancing shoes on and get ready for a wild night of dancing and singing!
